ParticipantBut what were the choices?
Would Clinton (Hillary edition) have done any different? I’m sure McSame wouldn’t.
Ron Paul would have taken names, I bet. A few “executive orders” or something.
… nnnn, and maybe not lasted through May, either.
(disclaimer: I’m not a Paulie but he seems to be one of the few in Congress with a backbone re the Fed, banks etc)

Participant
Wow that’s pretty stupid that the voting happened before he even had a chance to do anything. I’m an Obama supporter and I think this is weird. All my Obama-supporting friends think it’s weird too.
Maybe it was his speech on race relations from March 08?
But still, it’s weird.
Agreed, it is weird. But I guess the guy just inspired so many people during a time when they really needed to be inspired, that he was recognized for it.
What does this say about the previous administration or the direction of the country before he was elected?
