And let’s not forget President Obama decided to play golf on Memorial Day.
Or that he prefers to appear on the View rather than attend a major scouting event traditionally attended by presidents.

June 2, 2011 at 11:15 AM #700651briansd1Guest[quote=Zeitgeist]”NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Home prices hit another new low in the first quarter, down 5.1% from a year ago to levels not reached since 2002. It was the third straight quarterly drop for the S&P/Case-Shiller national home price index, which was released Tuesday.” Hope and change.

The economy is still growing. As long as we have GDP growth, I’m not worried. It just means that resources are allocated to areas other than the housing sector.
Granted, housing construction was for decades a driver of economic growth. When housing grows again, GDP growth will be even better.

Not at all, my dear Zeitgeist.
I’ve criticized Bush for many things, but never for not being polite.
In polite society, one never reproaches someone else for a faux pas. One would simply not associate with the offending party.
The fact that the British royals choose to associate with the Obamas is telling enough.
After all, the Queen invited Michelle Obama and her daughters over during a private visit to London in 2009.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1192709/Michelle-Obamas-friendship-Queen-grows-stronger-private-Palace-visit.htmlAnd the Queen invited the Obamas to stay at Buckingham Palace, an honor not accorded to previous US presidents.

It’s funny that Rush Limbaugh is one to comment on social etiquette, he, the vulgar loud-mouthed one.

BTW, you never bail out a faux pas, you just let it go, which is exactly what the Queen did.
