Keep the reports coming, and we’ll see over time where the trend is leading. With over $2 trillion in ARMs resetting over the next several years I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more pages on sdrealtor’s desk. π

July 4, 2007 at 10:07 AM #63879sdrealtorParticipantAgree that it’s just one data point. The trend is what is important and thus far it has been very slow. I’m just wondering when it will go hyperbolic if it will at all?

July 5, 2007 at 4:20 PM #64103ArtifactParticipantSo let’s start watching the trend graphically – some missing data here that may or may not be available (?) are the cumulative numbers for these categories. As noted above, the numbers are all over the place with so few points to look at – maybe with another month of data and cumulative numbers we will have something more to talk about.
If those with the data keep posting, I can generate the pictures easily enough.

July 12, 2007 at 1:38 PM #65500North County JimParticipantJuly 10 Report
224 NODs
174 NOTs
86 REOsI have access to another source for distressed property reports. Their reporting cycle is offset from this one by two or three days and just came out.
For 6/28 through 7/2, their listings contain 402 NODs, 300 NOTs and 80 REOs so next week’s report should see a jump in the NODs and NOTs.

July 12, 2007 at 1:43 PM #65502HereWeGoParticipantJim and realtors,
Any data on the percentage of NOTs that become REOs? We usually assume that percentage to be around 100%, but SD Realtor had a recent post that cast doubt on that assumption. Are lenders trying to “work things out” with NOT properties?

July 12, 2007 at 1:47 PM #65504ArtifactParticipantI redid the figure from above, but it is not even worth posting – basically the same as last week with a slight increase – needs another month or so of data before it maybe looks interesting.
Jim (or someone else with access) – is it possible to get the cumulative number of REO’s? I think that would be an interesting comparison here.
