How many auctions have you been to here in San Diego again?
I would say we have been to close to 100 of them since June of last year. Anybody in this business can tell you that auctions have tightened up considerably. The number of homes that actually get to bidding are WAY less then last year at this time. Similarly opening bids are higher then they were last year.
When you start actually going to the auctions let me know.
It not hard to see what is scheduled for auction and then what goes. When I was watching in 07 only a fraction would go. Those ratios don’t seem materially different from three years ago.

Sorry but somethings dont fit certain people’s view of the world. There is a wholesale market for everything, why is it wrong that there is one for houses also?
