Needless to say I wont be wasting my efforts on that market.
Can anyone beat $70/sq ft?[/quote]
Gotta be in the Mapleton area or the area just west of the airport. Stuff in Murrieta is much cheaper there.Don’t know the deal here, but looks to be a short for $55/sq ft.

February 6, 2009 at 6:03 AM #342092Nor-LA-SD-guyParticipantCould explain why Murrieta was number one city in the Nation for Home resales (not new home sales).
Temecula was number three city.
I can tell you there is a lot of demand (at that price) there were about 10 foreclosures in My tract in December, there seems to be only two left out of that (eight closed in December).
These things are getting eaten up like candy.
I would say the area is over sold and it would not take much to get a spike in price here.February 6, 2009 at 6:03 AM #341770Nor-LA-SD-guyParticipantCould explain why Murrieta was number one city in the Nation for Home resales (not new home sales).
