Participanthere is an important question; does a pizza from a brick oven taste different than a pizza from a regular oven? Why do brick pizza ovens exist? And why did the Daniels have to have one?

ParticipantI’ve been trying to cook pizza’s in my oven for 3 months now and cant get the crust to come out right. Its always undercooked. A friend suggested a pizza stone but perhaps what I really need is a brick oven out back.

Participanta pizza stone will help. I use my pizza stone a lot–i put lots of things on it. i cooked french fries and eggs for dinner last night, i put the frozen frenchfries on the stone; not sure it makes a difference, but since i have the stone, i want to use it. i think i may have a low quality pizza stone though. it was very inexpensive. maybe try a better stone, or rent it instead of buying it.
