GuestInteresting to hear it was FHA-financed. We put in a full-price offer on this house days after it was listed, but the seller turned us down because we were buying with a VA loan. Their loss, our gain. We closed on a South Park house two weeks ago; we paid a higher selling price, but our house is in great shape and in a neighborhood we like more. In retrospect, I’m not sure we would have been up to the challenge (and cost) that this Goldfinch house will pose for upgrading (though it’ll be gorgeous when/if done).

Congratulations, stricklandia! The homes in South Park, for the most part, are very, very well-built. You will not regret your purchase.
