Actually Jimmy what happened was that an offer was submitted for a short sale and the lender did not accept it and came back with an approval for the now higher price. If the realtor knows the lender will not accept anything lower, it is not worth the realtors time to list it lower. Basically the lender feels that they can get 519k for it…
Perhaps the lender is incorrect, (which is my feeling) but we will soon know as a trustee sale date has been set.
ar
ps – AN Wals is pending. As usual you are correct on it being a better place.

July 30, 2008 at 1:00 AM #248884anParticipantYep, a day after I posted it, I saw it went pending.
This Mason Heights house is sitting empty and now the lawn has turned yellow. We’ll see what the bank will priced it at when they get it back as REO.

July 30, 2008 at 1:12 PM #249129gnParticipant
Of course there’s no taker for that place @ $519k. You have this also at $519k. This one has bigger lot, 10% more living spaces, and in the better area.
asianautica,
You mentioned that the house on Walz is in a better area. Why is that ? Both houses are off of Calle Cristobal, is the east end better than the west end ?
