What give you an impression that McDonald is making enough profit? First, they’re independently owned, so it really up to the individual owner to determine whether they’re making or losing $. It’s not like McDonald going to keep on funding them if they lose $. Secondly, have you noticed the rising cost of everything these days? The cost of their bread, the grain to feed the cow, the diesel the truck use to deliver those ingredient to the store, the rise in minimum wage, etc. How can you even think they can absorb those cost?

Yes, asianautica, I expect McDonald’s to continue to absorb those costs. They’re the “Golden Arches”. They are supposed to serve fast food at cheap cost.
