ParticipantTheBreeze, if the company offer ROTH 401k, there is no tax deduction. Even if it’s only $19k as you say it is, that’s ~8k more in taxes. Do you have $8k to spare? I’m sure there’s a reason why someone would work twice as hard as others. I can say for certain that it’s not to get rewarded with $8k in taxes.
The lower 95% of the tax payer should be outraged too then, since they’re not being rewarded with high taxes. Damn those rich people, always get reward.

ParticipantWait a minute, I thought it didn’t matter what a President did in his personal life? Or is that just something you throw out when it conveniently fits? Or is it that it just doesn’t matter WHILE he is President but the stuff before matters a lot? I’m confused, do you have a handbook?
P.S. I don’t like McCain and his personal morals are just one of the things he is lacking.

Um, sure, if someone is willing and able to work six 12 hour shifts in a week. My wife works three 12’s in the OR. My sister works three 12’s in the ER, and my ex worked three 12’s in ICU. By the end of the third shift they are all exhausted. This isn’t sitting on your butt playing on the computer (like my job). It’s being on your feet hustling for virtually the entire 12 hours.
You try that, for 12 hours a day 6 days a week, see how long you last.
