I find it sad when someone as shockingly unqualified as Obama manages to skate into the nomination of a major US political party. The fact he did it before anyone even knew anything about him (other than his skin color) demonstrates conclusively that affirmative action and tokenism is a very dangerous thing.
Now we have a VP candidate under McCain who is only moderately more qualified than Obama. She was chosen primarily because she is as she.
This will be the first affirmative action election. Our leader will be chosen not based on merit, qualifications, capability, or talent…but on blind tokenism. The leftists must be very proud…they should be ashamed.

There is no question that McCain is qualified for the Presidency.
Palin is much more qualifed the Obama. Palin has actually done something productive in her public life. We know nothing about Obama other then he can’t talk without a teleprompter.

According to some people, it was Michelle Obama that did not want Hillary to be offered the Vice President’s position. Hillary would have brought in more votes than Biden. Biden was brought in for his international expertise, but he did not come with the kind of voter base that Hillary had. I think the pundits will be debating this for a long time.
