March 17, 2009 at 7:06 AM #367551scaredyclassicParticipantbesides the opiate problem, i wonder if people generally would be prejudiced against a fat candidate. when was the last fat president? hasn’t it been a long while? I’d be interested in some reserach of the body fat index of presidents going back to george wash. was the last really corpulent prez back in the 1800’s? i think nowadays people (rightly or wrongly) tend to associate fat with being out of control. also, in terms of dying i office, mccain was probably more likely statistically to make it to the end of his term without spending a good amount of time in a coronary care facility than rush. not sure about the stats on that though, but im sure it would be in the voters subconscious. the fat, the serious drugs, tend to show a guy who cannot control his imuplses, which is okay with me personally, i like party people, just think america would rather have a toned, controlled black guy than fat, wild white guy in 2012. this sint the 1800s and fat is our national touchstone for character.
