Good deal on used Lexus
I would love to find a sweet deal on a low mileage 1-2 year old Lexus SC430 convertible! An absolute gem of a car with the hard top for year round driving and summertime drop top pleasure. New these go for almost 80k so used maybe 30k would be nice ride for major discount. But its sad that Mercedes has produced crap the last few years. I like the SL550 and maybe Mercedes will bring quality control back into their cars again.
Mercedes have been producing crap for years. They never scored well on reliablity and were always the most expensive cars to have serviced.
BMW is the same way. Problematic to say the least. Anything that can go wrong with a BMW’s electronics will go wrong sooner or later.
Hands down the Japanese cars are head and shoulders above the Germans.

Newer cars, I agree. The Germans have dropped in quality and reliability in past few years. Which is why if I bought a car made after 2003, it would most likely be either a Lexus or Infiniti.

I mean, the former being a Toyota Camry and Highlander with pleather and different body panels. The latter sharing enough with the Toyota highlander with pleather and different body panels. And how much more the Lexi (plural for Lexus?) were over the toyotas.
(Yeah, yeah before you folks get on the band wagon about saying Audis are rebadged VW’s. Platform sharing is not so extensive starting MK2002. And you can’t say the same thing about BMW or Mercedes)
