ParticipantI took my car into Lexus Carlsbad to get its 75k service last week and asked the service rep I know how new car sales were doing. He told me that new cars sales were off by half.

Participantautos have been the most hammered in this downturn. I was initially looking at perhaps buying a new car this year (my current truck is 6 years old) but now when I see economic conditions NO WAY am I going to spend that kind of money for at least a couple more years till this whole thing blows over and at least the job market starts to look promising.
I guess everyone is thinking the same way!
