Owners of that house are former realtors. David Meunier, age 50, license# 01330998 (issued 02/26/02, expired 02/25/06), and Isabel Meunier, age 43, license# 01303201 (issued 01/24/01, expired 01/23/09). Neither one is employed as a real estate agent at the present time.

So they got their license at the beginning of the boom and gave it up as the bust came. I wonder if they diversified their earnings into other investment or all into RE… Seeing that the house is on the market, I’m leaning towards them putting all their eggs in one basket, RE…

FYI having a real estate license is different than being a realtor. they could have been lenders, appraisers or something else. some got licenses to do their own transactions

true… I know a few who got the license just so that they could keep the real estate fee in the family when a family member is buying/selling house..
