    It’s bleak if you’re looking for a job. My husband is in a hard hit field – Commercial Architecture. Even with experience dealing with hard to deal with agencies (OSPD, FAA, etc.) he’s finding zip. In previous times he could go to the San Diego’s AIAA website. Last month there was an ad for a drafting position and two ads for people looking to sublet or share their studio space. Today there are NO ads, zero.

    Monster has nothing. Craigslist has a few headhunters and a bunch of folks, like my husband, who are LOOKING for jobs.

    I work for a public transportation agency and we were informed on April 7th that we would be facing 50%layoffs by June…..remaining staff may be “asked” to take pay and/or benefit cuts.
