It’s actually an indictment on the entire MSM.
Your point about losing faith in humanity is poignant, but off base. Only in societies where social status is placed on material wealth do we have this kind of behavior. In rural tribal communities like those in the south American rain forests and in the Western Pacific, this is a far rarer issue. They haven’t lost touch with what makes their lives worthwhile, whereas it appears we have.

Point taken. I guess you should lose faith in people who live in civilized society then. I wonder if they don’t do these things, because they’re too busy trying to survive.March 13, 2009 at 2:43 PM #365704anParticipant
It’s actually an indictment on the entire MSM.

Why call out this one TV network?
Did you even watch the interview, or the week of segments leading up to it, both from Stewart and Cramer? It is not my (or our) job to spoon-feed you the context. If you’re too lazy to research what you’re commenting on, you’re guilty of the exact same thing that Stewart is calling out here.

March 13, 2009 at 2:49 PM #365424danthedartParticipantI didn’t miss that. He said that, but then proceeded to eviscerate Cramer. If it’s not about him, then why are we cheering so much? Why is Cramer made to answer for the entire industry? Clearly it is about Cramer and clearly it’s about Cramer because Stewart wants ratings. Whose promo did Stewart play? Whose show was called snake oil? It’s about Cramer! Come on, don’t trust everything Stewart feeds. He says its not about Cramer when it’s ALL about Cramer. Stewart is just as much a snake as Cramer or any other entertainer is.
