Perhaps he doesn’t have a lot of knowledge, but he doesn’t claim that he does. Knowledge is overrated anyway, especially in the information age.
However, he does have a certain wisdom. His simple questions and emphasis on obvious inconsistencies may not suggest that he has any great gift. But somehow he has done more to hold the media accountable than any journalist of our time.
