ParticipantI think banning anyone for expressing his opinions is a bad idea.
I also think that jficquette, as someone else said, represents a huge portion of the population. He doesn’t see how partisan he is. He thinks he has information to back up what he says (until you call him on it; then he ignores you or says, “I don’t care what you think”). He can’t see his own hypocrisy, despite the fact that it’s pretty outrageous. There are millions just like him. And lots of them vote. So they’re important. And it’s important to try to understand them (if you want to understand this country).
I agree with New Renter about a new “active forum topics” set up. Maybe have an “Active forum topics” section which includes the four real estate-related topic areas and an “Active OT forum topics” right below it which includes all the off topic discussions.
