BTW, I think those Mt Helix homes are fabulous also. Its just nowhere I or most people I know or work with would consider lifestyle wise…
I am way past the point of wanting to live 8 feet from my neighbor. If I could, I would live in Woodside, CA on a secluded acreage with the likes of Steve Jobs & family for “neighbors.” At present, I wouldn’t mind living 50 – 1000 feet (yes, a thousand feet) from my neighbor(s). Privacy is king! And I know I’m not the only one with this opinion :=)

February 18, 2011 at 5:21 PM #668173sdrealtorParticipant
jp, what are you thinking driving up to LA on a Friday afternoon? Rain or not that is guaranteed brutal.
sdr, I favor the SD coastal areas. The La Mesa area is intriguing but has too much of an “old” feel for me, plus a long drive from the beach where I like to surf everyday.
If in another 2-3 years coastal properties are still overpriced, I might consider something more inland. I have nothing really against NCC either, just that it is out of the way and a bit boring.
Exactly the way I like it:)
