jp, what are you thinking driving up to LA on a Friday afternoon? Rain or not that is guaranteed brutal.
sdr, I favor the SD coastal areas. The La Mesa area is intriguing but has too much of an “old” feel for me, plus a long drive from the beach where I like to surf everyday.
If in another 2-3 years coastal properties are still overpriced, I might consider something more inland. I have nothing really against NCC either, just that it is out of the way and a bit boring.
