Female, married, read this site on a regular basis and hubby has no interest in any of this stuff. Love this site and all I have learned from it. Sold La Jolla condo we owned for 18 years last summer before the credit meltdown. Just starting to look seriously now as prices have come way down. Thanks Piggs for the education!

August 18, 2008 at 3:02 PM #258477hawkParticipantI am married, in late 20’s, professional and looking for our first home in the north county coastal area. Came across this site about two years ago after looking one time with an agent and realizing that prices could not be sustainable when we could only afford a 1970’s condo in our target area.
Now we can afford (comfortably)a 1970’s sfr. Hopefully when we buy in 1-2 years that house will be a little nicer and newer!

Long-time reader. Used to post a lot. Now am too busy running my biz. Just end up skimming.Used to organize all of the Piggs meet-ups too. I’d say we were 60/40, men being 60%. Or maybe we were such strong women that we seemed more????
Also, for the other thread the other day where someone was saying he’d never met a business owner that was liberal – I should add my name to that list too.
Female. 41. Single. Liberal. π
