Fed extends buying the bonds to March 2010 at slow pace.
Today US currency is so strong against Yen, not sure if it is real or because Oct 1 treasury note auction will take place, so they push up the bond price and currency.
Inflation seems not the case shortly as unemployment rate is so high, deflation everywhere, cheap food and stuffs…
Will the mortgage rate drop further by the end of this year ? feel it is still good time to buy cheap house and lock lower rate this year, next year may be another story. What do you think ?
