ParticipantYeah. She also something about delaying the pain and how unsuccessful the loan mods have been. The way things are out there, it “seems” things are moving along okay. Of course we know all that’s been done to give this appearance. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.

ParticipantSo far she’s called this financial/banking/housing scenario very accurately. Last summer she called the rise in housing activity/prices “a big headfake” and it seems to have been pretty smart and insightful.
She is definately someone whose commentary should be included/considered when formulating your own view of the housing world these days.

She’s done a very good job with the fundamentals and made folks a lot of money until March of last year. But she, along with many others, underestimated the will of the Officialdom to prime the pump. And folks who have followed her investment advice since March of last year have been clobbered. Destroyed. Which is why you haven’t seen much of her lately.
Don’t get me wrong, fundamentally she’s been fairly accurate. Which is super. But the financial markets operate on a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately basis. And all she’s really done for anyone lately is lost them a shitpile of money.
Doesn’t mean she won’t have her day again sometime in the future, though.
