GuestWater heaters have shot up, so has the price of copper. I’ll be curious if they send someone out to check for the permit. I would guess it’s not the brand but the other things: elevated if indoor, earthquake straps, PT valve installation, etc.

ParticipantThanks for the all the info on brands of water heaters. What’s the best way to go about finding a plumber to install it? I know the obvious answer would be to ask neighbors, but people in my condo complex don’t make eye contact, know your name and pretty much keep to themselves. It’s like living in a gated community where when the car enters the garage, the garage door immediately shuts. Should I ask the property manager for a recommendation or would that be biased name?
