Participantbroken record here again
bottom no sooner than 2011/2012 – more likely 2014/2015 and then scrape along the bottom for several more years
asset classes that experience bubbles and then burst are typically dead for at least a generation
we can’t all buy at the bottom so you knife-catchers do your job for the next two years or so

ParticipantYour Alt-A’s peak in what, 2013, and the foreclosures should hit the market say, 2014? Is that when we should buy? 4 years is almost enough to fit in another economic cycle, what if we get a modest economic recovery in say mid 2010ish and then a downturn starting in say, mid 2014? Should I wait till things turn up again, in say 2016? C’mon now, even Miley Cyrus knows there’s always gonna be another mountain.

ParticipantWhen we do hit bottom (2011+ IMO), I doubt it will be in the month of May or June.
