    Just wondering where your agent is during all of this? Shouldnt they be answering these questions?

    My agent answered them. Just interested in getting a second opinion. She laid out the options and the pro’s and con’s of each, so I just wanted a second opinion.

    I would not ask the seller to remedy anything until I had it inspected with an inspector of my choosing. One my inspector did it, and gave me a report, then I would select the contractor to remediate and the negotiate with the seller to pay for it.
