Flag drag with clothing make by the Amish would be more appropriate.
Even the clothing by American Apparel, Made in Downtown LA, are made mostly by Hispanic workers.

GuestI don’t there’s anything wrong with honoring Mexican Independence from Spain, as a show of solidarity with our southern neighbor.
Maybe it’s a good opportunity to learn the history of our neighbor.
BTW, Harry Truman hung a picture of Simon Bolivar in the middle of the Oval Office over the fireplace. A smaller picture of George Washington hung to the side. There is also a statue of Simon Bolivar in Washington, DC.
It’s perfectly honorable to commemorate important world events and personalities.
