    Tonight I picked up 8 pieces of chicken,1 lb. of macaroni salad, 1 lb. of waldorf salad, 4 Kings Hawaiian rolls and a 2liter bottle of Dr.Pepper for $7.99 + tax. not a bad deal. I wonder if Albertson’s will still have that deal during the strike?

    We went to Stater Bros. during the last strike, and will do the same this time.

    Remember, today it’s “their” jobs that don’t matter; tomorrow, it’s your job that doesn’t matter.

    They are hiring scabs for $10-$13/hr at Albertson’s. I’m sure that doesn’t include any benefits. Glad to know we’re all happy about the race to the bottom. 🙁

    Yep. We went to Keil’s instead of vons last time. Still do the bulk of our shopping at Costco and Henries – places that show that non-union shops CAN behave well towards their employees.

    I won’t cross the line. I usually shop at Henry’s or Trader Joes. Whole Foods is not in my budget. We used to shop at Vons and Ralphs. Last strike we stopped going. Took a while to shop there again, but every once in a while we did. But if they strike, we will stop again. As CAR said, today it’s their job, tomorrow yours.
