We went to Stater Bros. during the last strike, and will do the same this time.
Remember, today it’s “their” jobs that don’t matter; tomorrow, it’s your job that doesn’t matter.
They are hiring scabs for $10-$13/hr at Albertson’s. I’m sure that doesn’t include any benefits. Glad to know we’re all happy about the race to the bottom. π

Yep. We went to Keil’s instead of vons last time. Still do the bulk of our shopping at Costco and Henries – places that show that non-union shops CAN behave well towards their employees.August 24, 2011 at 8:17 AM #723612UCGalParticipant[quote=CA renter]We went to Stater Bros. during the last strike, and will do the same this time.

I usually shop at Henry’s or Trader Joes. Whole Foods is not in my budget. We used to shop at Vons and Ralphs. Last strike we stopped going. Took a while to shop there again, but every once in a while we did. But if they strike, we will stop again. As CAR said, today it’s their job, tomorrow yours.
