ParticipantI feel connected to my garden. Great bunch of people working at our local Albertson’s store. However, it seems like whatever they win, I will pay for one way or another. Maybe that’s all good, rising tide raises all ships, or maybe people from all sides are using the fact that we need to eat to take as much as they can?

GuestAgreed. We used to shop at our neighborhood Von’s exclusively. The previous strike introduced us to places like Trader Joe’s, Henry’s, Smart & Final, Ethnic Grocery stores, etc etc. We actually found ourselves liking these places better and quit shopping at Von’s.
We started getting into natural foods and found the selections and prices more appealing at these other places.
Currently frequent Fresh & Easy, Trader Joe’s, Henry’s/Sprout’s and a few Ethnic markets.August 22, 2011 at 7:38 AM #722540Anonymous
