….I can assure you that marriage (and kids) is far more expensive and time consuming than staying single, even if the man is dating a different woman every week….
I don’t doubt what you say, in general. But I was referring to the expense and time draw of dating very (physically) attractive women. Expensive with or without marriage.

Dating an extraordinarily hot woman is generally far cheaper than marrying a very average-looking woman. I’m sure there are exceptions but, on average, dating anyone is cheaper than marrying anyone else. Once you start co-mingling assets and, god forbid, having children, things get VERY expensive for the bread winner if a break-up ever occurs – even if we’re talking about a pretty shabby-looking woman.
The costs associated with a wedding (and honeymoon and ring, etc.), supporting a wife and kids over a period of years, and a divorce FAR outweigh the costs of expensive evenings out, the occasional bauble, and vacations to Montserrat associated with that hot 24-year old that won the bikini contest at the Baja 1000. Trust me on this one.

LoL! I hope you enjoyed the bikini. Well, I agree with your analysis of the relative cost of marriage vs dating from the guy’s PoV. Marriage is like the fixed-price union contract for half of the population. I’m not saying unions don’t have a place, just drawing an analogy.
