Makes one stop and think about how fragile the world really is. Losing money, bankruptcy, bad speculation, bad risk taking one thing. You can recover from that. Getting killed mother nature isn't exactly something you can control. Despite how fcked up the economy might people, there are always people in elsewhere that have it worse.
My sympathies to folks anyone who are directly or indirectly affected by this.
