I would suspect it is someone who can afford it and loved it. It was a large house in a nice location with beautiful upgrades. I dont think they overpaid much given the current market. Looks like a relatively fair price to me. Not a great deal but not a bad one either.

Lynwood is my favorite street in ER particularly the west side but that one is one a wierd corner and backed up to a house on the other street which greatly obstructed the view. I remember it last time it was on the market and it took a long time sell even in a much crazier market. It’s big house w/ below average upgrades for the area and is on a funky corner but that is still a decent price for that.
The spyglass house was beautifully upgraded on a nice tucked away cul de sac but probably got some impact from the road behind. If the house was for me, I’d probably take this one.
Ravean is a big house and I’ve always found those Barett homes very impressively built. They were close to $1M when new in 2000. They do back up to Quail Gardens and this one was pretty low down. The higher up Ravean you go the better view and less road impact. One of the Ecke’s lives at the top of the hill. It is gated though which is nice. If I had to name a winner it would be this one. At $1.22M they paid a 2001/2002 price.
