Well, here is another similar listing, not sure what address, but this is Encinitas Ranch neighborhood with a golf course view.
http://www.sdlookup.com/MLS-090040148
995,000
Beds/Baths: 5 / 4
Square Feet: 4,612 sfMaybe the decline won’t be as painfully slow as we all were expecting.[/quote]
If you click on the “View full size map” link, you’ll see the address is 620 Cypress Hills Dr, 92024. Using Google street view and the picture they posted confirms that, it’s the correct address.July 19, 2009 at 10:08 PM #434179an

ParticipantThe new one is a short sale yet to be approved but looks like a good price. FWIW, the Lynwood homes are considerably nicer then these IMO.

ParticipantSD Realtor and sdr,
Well, it looks like the sale went through for
$1,345,000. Wow, I’m amazed they found a buyer who would overpay by this much. What are your thoughts now? Is this what you would have recommended to list for and if you were the buyer’s agent, is this what you would have lower balled it at?
Is there anyway to find out if the buyer downed a substantial amount or is this just another case of an investor who thought that the market has bottomed out & used some creative financing?
