Does CA compete with other states to be the most costly?

OK, CA wins when it comes to finding ways to make fuel more expensive and now notary service. I went to get a document notarized and it cost the maximum $15.00 to get the document notarized. It cost $10.00 in 2017. Now CA made it 50% more expensive. The next expensive state is $10.00 per notary. CA is at least 50% more expensive than any other state for notary service!

Yeah, my company’s receptionist is a notary and will perform the service for employees as a side perk during her working hours.

CA is a mess, she’s that crazy porn star girlfriend you know is bad for you but you just can’t seem to break up with. I can’t leave, I’m a weather wimp, bug averse plus my kids and grandkids are here. I’m a cheap uber ride to golf, casinos and wineries. I cannot find that in any no state income tax places. Wish I could, so I guess I’ll just have to deal with it.
