If you’re into the whole Catholic thing, shouldn’t those boots be replaced with white knee socks?
You’ve got it backwards. The white socks wouldn’t be for me.
The scenario would be the Catholic boy wearing his robe, idealistic, pious, good-hearted all that good stuff…and me waiting in the wings, ready to corrupt…
Why are you so uptight, Allen? Or are you really?

January 21, 2008 at 8:25 PM #140248Allan from FallbrookParticipantmarion: Robe? I gotta tell you that at no point in my 12 years of Catholic schooling (Jesuit, no less) did I ever have a robe!
As far as idealistic, pious and good-hearted: Well, see the aforementioned Jesuit education. I’d be 0 for 3 there.
What makes you think I’m uptight? Just curious.

January 21, 2008 at 8:33 PM #140262AnonymousGuestYou weren’t an alter boy? Too bad. Regardless, the attraction is more inward versus outward. 0 for 3. Nah. Remember, we’ve talked before on certain issues. In your case, your religion is a part of you. Just like mine is a part of me. You’ve made that clear.
If you’re not uptight, stop acting like it. “You got that sh** out of your system”?? Exactly what again did you get out of your sytem?
You started this, so finish it.
