I was thinking of oddball offers I could make attached to lowball offers to get banks or people to look at them a little more seriously> How about this idea: similar to the loan modification programs, I would share a percentage of the profit from future sales. the percentage would decline over a period of years, liek the loan mod program. Do you suppose such a deal would have any impact on whether a bank would sell me an REO? Say i told them 90% of the difference between the future sales price and the current sales price int he first 3 years, 70% in years 3-5, and 20% thereafter. Do you think that might be the incentive to get them to sell a house significantly below market? or am i dreaming. any other ideas?
