Cops at the department are embarrassed by his behavior. Many I spoke w/are not backing him or happy w/what he’s done. They are pissed at him for making cops look bad. He is on leave b/c he’s a liability. I’d be surprised if he stays on.
Funny thing is many cops I know did not buy during the bubble. I wonder if the persuasion came from the realtor wife. He screwed himself.

This is excellent news, but I’m left wondering why all the other people who trash foreclosures aren’t put under the same magnifying glass, and why they aren’t punished the same way. How many of these “Joe Sixpacks” have lost their jobs as a result of what they did to their foreclosed house? How many are in jail and/or have to pay restitution?
July 22, 2012 at 9:18 AM #748714svelteParticipantHow do you know for sure that they aren’t?
I can tell you for sure that not everything that goes through the court system winds up in the paper. Only the most interesting. And this qualified.

They should be but he deserves it more. For the very simple reason that he is a representative of the law.
