There are plenty of buyers trying to go FHA, just not a high percentage suceeding. Stronger buyers are carrying the day with inventory so constrained.

That is totally consistent with what I am seeing.Not many FHA loans closing but piles of FHA buyers.

It was a nightmare fraught with providing a ridiculous amount of information and TWO hack appraisers. But we closed. Subsequent to that I am dumping all the cash into a remodel right now… Hopefully will be able to get the PMI off at the end of the first year term.
