Reagan (fiscal conservatism’s hero) was the first to start massive governmenment spending. H.W. Bush continued it. The deficit actually shrank under Clinton and now another so-called “fiscal conservative” (Chimpy) has nearly driven the U.S. into bankruptcy.
Fiscal conservatism is a sham. The only real choice is between massive socialism for the super-rich (Republitards) or moderate socialism for the working man (Democrats). I’ll choose the moderate socialism and you can continue choosing massive socialism (Bob Barr is a Republitard).
