However, if you got a great deal and no mello roos, then you could probably send the children to private. Good luck in your search.

This Fannie/Freddie thing can unravel in a very nasty way, sending mortgage rates into the outer space, that alone would shave another 50-100k off those house values (probably won’t happen but do you want to take that chance?)
