    Tried to get a roof tile paint… impossible to purchase or ship to CA. I guess I will have to take my roof to Arizona for painting.

    Don’t even get me started on CA-specific catalytic converters… $$$$$

    If I were you, I’d do a steel structure of some sort.

    The steel will rust and create a nice protective patina. No need to repaint ever.

    I saw a rusty rustic steel driveway gate I really liked. Yeah…rust! I love rust.

    The steel will rust and create a nice protective patina. No need to repaint ever.

    You have to use the right type of steel. Some develop a patina. Other types of steel just rust away, look ugly, and fail.
