I have not bought anything other than food. I went shopping w/my g/f a few days ago. She was looking for something for her little girl. Was disappointed b/c this Oshkosh outfit was made in China. Pretty much everything we looked at was made in China. Been really hard. I knew it would be. I can’t imagine for people who are consumers. I’m not a big shopper. Nothing I really need. I can do w/out a lot.
Tell her to make her own…It’s not that hard for summer dresses (especially since retro is pretty in)…Alternatively, buy from people who make stuff as a hobbie from etsy.

Obama wants to start taxing companies that provide employees with cell phones. idiotic idea as it is, I guess he doesn’t realize some of the reasons for this is because people need to be on call for various reasons. Frankly, I’ll be happy to dispose of my electronic dog leash if mandated.
Oh hell, we should start taxing obama for his plane use, his cell phone use, etc.

The use of company-issued mobile phones could trigger new federal income taxes on millions of Americans as a “fringe benefit,” spurring efforts by the wireless industry and others to kill the idea.
The Internal Revenue Service proposed that employers assign 25% of an employee’s annual phone expenses as a taxable benefit. Under that scenario, a worker in the 28% tax bracket, whose wireless device costs the company $1,500 a year, could see $105 in additional federal income tax.
Wall street starting to hate obama. Pretty soon, tech companies will too …. Just a matter of time Good riddance Carter…Err I mean Obama.

Craftsman tools
Bose
F-16s
Harley Davidsons
Bell helicopters
Sikorsky helicopters
Boeing jets
Ford trucks (they are good)
General Electric turbine engines
Viking appliances
Wolfe appliances
John Deere tractors
Caterpillar diesel engines
Jenn-Air
Calloway
Oakley glasses
Adding to this list:
Optics
Boats (long list here…)
Airstream Trailers
Cadillac CTS-V (beats BMW, Mercedes)But I agree often American made = higher end.
For example: A chinese made 12″ Dobsonian telescope can be had for about $700-800 dollars, whereas the American made counterpart starts at about $3300.
The Chinese made optics are generally of good to excellent quality; and if your on a budget it gets hard to justify the extra $2000 or more for the American made optics.
