The I-15 widening/car pool project in LE should be nearing completion and the 76 widening and straightening should be done. I doubt we’ll have any progress on the high speed rail but it’s fun to think about some minor development on it by 2015. That will only help to negate the “commuter discount” in the area going forward.[/quote]
Personally I am waiting for the Tunnel to OC but that is probably even further out.
OK Last post by me, I need to get back to work too much distraction with this board for me,
Good Luck to you all, may you buy (or find) the homes you are looking for.
Maybe once a week or so I may comeback to lurk but I must stop my Addiction to this board.Good Luck one and all !!!

May 1, 2009 at 8:12 AM #390821Rt.66ParticipantThe homes were once owned by developer Mathews Homes and picked up by Guaranty Bank in Irvine via foreclosure. Guaranty Bank in Irvine is paying for the destruction of them. 4 model homes and 12 almost finished homes are being demolished. The person running the machine in the video says there are another 20 homes in Temecula California to demolish, about an hour away.
http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/I thought Temecula was at bottom? I thought Temecula was hot? Why would the banks rather bulldoze houses than sell them. Is unfinished new homes being bulldozed a sign of a bottom or a complete and utter disaster?
Face it cheerleaders, you’ve been conned. The banks have successfully got you to beleive in a bottom while they hide a gazillion foreclosures on their books and prepare to foreclose on another gazzilion and bulldoze new homes.
Meanwhile banks value unfinished new homes at….ZERO going forward in Temecula.
Let the cheerleader/realtor spinning begin!

May 1, 2009 at 8:33 AM #390846NotCrankyParticipantThey don’t value the houses at ZERO as houses. The see the continuation of the project as a net loss. The financing options are gone. The infrastructure and fees needed to close out the permit on a a few vandalized houses in a development project that was supposed to be much larger is not worth it.This will get sold to a new developer at a discount if it hasn’t been already,it will sit for some time maybe or it might be turned into a different use. Ask Norris if you don’t believe me.It is a failed project, not a failure of value in houses across the board.
