Participant[quote=DataAgent]How about a window fan:
I have one of those currently. It works well but I have to leave the window completely open, which lets in all of the noise. I thought about cutting a piece of wood to block the rest of the open window, but mounting that piece of wood such that it’s not a permanent installation might be kind of tricky.

ParticipantI had two of those for my north park rental and RB rental. I would usually put one in the window where the breeze was coming from in one room and exhaust in a room across the house so i would create a tunnel of breeze through the house… Occasionally i would put a fan in the middle to move the air. North park didnt have AC so had to do what I could.
Portable AC units work well if you can get a good seal on the inbound airflow.
