I remember seeing a pathetic “let’s guess OCRenter’s address” thread somewhere.
The whole ‘industry’ (there is no added value, there is just a bunch of lazy loud mouths using ‘anecdotal evidence’ to scare/goad people into paying a racquet, hence the quotes) reeks.
The only thing that surprises me is that OC could not restrain himself from bragging about his purchase.
What was your page rank, anyway? You might be able to get some decent $$ for that property. It will help pay a lawyer.

[/quote]What was so pathetic about it?
He was giving away so much information, he practically wanted someone to guess his address.

January 15, 2009 at 12:49 PM #329381sdnerdParticipantI don’t recall ever reading anything on the blog that would justify any lawsuit.
Virtually all of the information provided was public information, and then freedom of speech commentary.
The only thing that is jumping into my head is perhaps he purchased in one of the neighborhoods or homes he actually featured on his blog. I’m not close to anything of a lawyer, but maybe there is a no-no somewhere in there if some of his information was incorrect @ helped to lower the sale price based on false information.
Who knows. Heck if you can sue for spilling hot coffee on your lap… or for getting injured while breaking into someone’s house… why not for some comments on a blog.
Miss the blog, wish it would come back.
