well, the world was probably pretty evil back then, but at least people weren’t as hyper-alert. I don’t even own a tv. i just live int he world and talk to humans and observe. i don’t even listen to the radio. i see the local paper. we live in denial too. Everyone pretends to be ok. it’s not ok. we are crazed.
except, actually in reality, y’know, I’m pretty happy. I kinda have a good time most of the time. Still, I hate pretending that everything’s ok.
After reading a couple of the other threads I am thankful that I’m married to a wonderful woman who seems to be willing to put up with my faults. Just in the last week some of the comments on these threads have caused me to get up and go find her and tell her how much I appreciate her and appeal to her to please don’t dump my ass. I have seen what lies out in the dating world and I am afraid, I’m very afraid.
