ParticipantYes, worst idea ever. Those rooms were for dock workers and military. Now they’ll end up as crap condos, soon to go bankrupt. Then back into apartments/motel rooms.

ParticipantThis deal is not going bankrupt. It is owned by Pacific Companies (http://pacificacompanies.com).
It was a very marginal deal even at the height of the bubble.
Pacifica shuld just consider the capital invested as upgrades to the rooms and rent them back out as hotel rooms.
