“Just given the circumstances, we think it’s appropriate,” Fannie Mae spokesman Brian Faith said, citing Kucinich’s statement and news reports. “It certainly made our radar screen.”
How many other people are going to play the victim here, and now expect entitlements? I’m sure she isn’t the only senior in the country facing foreclosure… There are single moms, people with disabilities, people recently layed off, etc.. plus many more facing hardships, should we forgive everyone’s mortgage who is having a bad year? I get a bad feeling that taxpayers funds will be used to forgive pay for this loan.. I don’t think the direction this is going is good.
