Any Bad Areas/Neighborhoods of Temecula or Murrieta?

I take this comment as you don’t like either city? Why?

Obviously what people like and don’t like are relative to their own tastes but my question was “are there any bad areas”, not “is there any areas you prefer not to live in because if your tastes”. And bad areas is in reference to trashy people or homes and high crime areas.

It struck me as pretty trashy when I used to go up there a few years ago. And the economy was booming due to the housing bubble.

That’s gone and my impression is that except for the wealthiest enclaves the entire area is going to turn into a big section-8 housing project.

Interesting you say that. I have been subconsciously thinking the same thing about the area now being so cheap, we will see an upsurge in low class into the area. But then I was thinking they will get in and have to move out at some point due to inability to maintain employment, or become unhappy with HOA rules that they want more freedom elsewhere like a trailer park.

So you thought it was trashy? Wow, I did not get that impression the few times I have been up there. Maybe where I live is the slums in your opinion and the condo I rent isn’t that bad (albeit I am surrounded by the slums). :o)
